Police Advisory for GSTV

We have been alerted that there are messages circulating on Facebook and messaging platforms e.g. Whatsapp asking members of the public to download a GST Voucher application.

Please be reminded that this is a fake application and members of the public are advised NOT to download any suspicious files as they may contain malware which will allow scammers to access and take control of the device.

Remember: You do not need to download any mobile application to receive your GSTV benefits. GSTV benefits are automatically given to existing beneficiaries.

Citizens who are eligible to receive GST Voucher – Cash will be notified via the Singpass app or SMS after the payment is made. Payment will be made by default to your PayNow-NRIC-linked bank account. Those who have received their payments via PayNow would have been informed on 3 August 2023. Those without PayNow, will receive their GSTV-Cash via bank crediting and will be notified on 11 August 2023. Those without bank accounts will receive via GovCash and will be notified from 23 August 2023. You can refer to our FAQs on the payment dates.
